After flying radio controlled aircraft for many years, I know this is possible. This is a specially built stunt aircraft with enlarged control surfaces. With that said, putting the crippled plane into a knife edge, using the enlarged rudder as an elevator for more lift and opposing forces with the one existing wings ailerons against the horizontal stabilizer's elevators, it most certainly is a feat to behold. If one was to question the pilot I am most certain he would say he has put some time on one of the many simulators available to R/C people to good use.
